Some conversions run in your browser, some are sent to our serverless API, and transcription files are sent through our serverless API to Google Gemini for processing. We do not intentionally permanently store your uploaded files on our servers.

Files sent to third-party processors, such as Google Gemini for transcription, are handled under those providers' terms and privacy practices, which may include their own transient processing logs or retention policies.

These third parties may receive data only as needed to perform these tasks. For example, uploaded transcription files are sent to Google Gemini through our serverless API so the transcription can be generated.

AI Processing

Google Gemini: We use Google Gemini to process transcription requests. When you request transcription, the uploaded file content is sent to Google's Gemini API. Do not upload files that contain sensitive, confidential, or regulated information unless you are comfortable with that third-party processing.

Analytics

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

Google Analytics: Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

You can opt-out of having your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents Google Analytics JavaScript from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.
